If a nation educates its citizens to instil in them a sense of ethics, humility and duty to the common weal, then their governance through time will reflect these qualities. At all times a nation needs to ensure that its economy serves the people and this must be balanced with a military designed as a deterrent to invaders. People are ‘good, just and ethical’, nations are entities.
